Meet Kelly
Kelly Bornt is a marketing strategist and creative director with more than 20 years of experience helping businesses and organizations share their stories with purpose. Her career began in Upstate New York and Rhode Island, then expanded to Europe where she lived in Budapest and traveled through Ireland, France, Serbia, Hungary, and Romania. She then rooted herself for nearly 15 years in Southeast Asia, primarily in Laos and Thailand. Living and working in Laos deeply shaped her perspective on community, culture, and meaningful communication, and that cross-cultural experience continues to influence her heart-centered approach to branding and social media strategy today.
In Laos, Kelly co-founded Tukata School in Vientiane and partnered with cultural institutions, eco-startups, and nonprofits to expand their reach through thoughtful marketing. She also served as an Event Organizer for the Lao Cultural Studies Series, promoting Lao heritage through monthly programs, and as Social Media Manager for the Women’s International Group, supporting education and healthcare initiatives. Back in the U.S., she contributed as Marketing Chair for Lao UNY, helping to build visibility for Lao youth initiatives. Today, she continues to serve as a volunteer English language teacher, keeping service and connection at the center of her work.
